Ingredients

For the Chicken Bites:

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts or thighs (cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian herbs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

For the Garlic Butter Sauce:

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional, for heat
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Optional Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce for added depth
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese for extra richness
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest for brightness

Instructions

  • Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces and season with salt, black pepper, paprika, and Italian herbs.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for about 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Reduce heat to medium, then add butter to the skillet. Once melted, stir in minced garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, tossing it in the garlic butter sauce.
  • Stir in lemon juice and top with fresh parsley.
  • Serve warm with rice, pasta, or crusty bread.

Notes

For a spicier version, add extra red pepper flakes or a dash of hot sauce.
To prevent butter from burning, cook on medium heat and use a mix of butter and olive oil.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
